Virus becomes aerosolised so spreads more easily than we thought. We should all wear masks!

Very interesting article by a scientist, and if correct would explain why countries who wear masks routinely have fewer cases. Well, one of the reasons. Also why the virus spreads so easily amongst populations and became a pandemic so rapidly.

People in this.country are in complete denial . Masks are compulsory even outside still in Italy for sure.

Probably because the Government are making a complete balls up of this. If they had instructed people to wear masks/face coverings a month ago as part of a clear, confident, informative communication, people in the UK would be no different to those in Italy. Given it a fortnight and the UK will catch up.

If I have to wear a mask outside I'll be staying in my own home and garden for the foreseeable future! I understand why they are necessary on public transport (thankfully I don't use it) but for going out for a walk? I'm only going to be in prolonged contact with DH, not anyone else so I'm not likely to be spreading it
