Return of kids sports?

I have not missed the endless drudgery of sport practice, however my kids have so as lockdown is lifted no doubt my life will go back to this but when do you think it will start, will some start first ie football before swimming, netball before rugby? The only real information I've had is from rugby who seem pretty certain that it will all be back to normal in September.

We are in East Anglia, I feel your pain as ds is doing some land training and cycling but it's hard going. He's tried running but says it's really boring!

Thanks for your replies. I'm just so sad, like many others mine have worked hard and given up things to excell in sport. A pp said about opening golf and garden centre's, very astutely mentioning the demographic most likely to vote tory.

Swimming, hockey and football all desperately missed. Hockey is making some tentative steps back to training but the season is over in any case. Football and swimming are doing online land training but it's in no way a replacement for either. Very frustrated.

I'm pleased about the garden centres though, one of my DCs has taken up gardening in lockdown. If they had missed much more of their peak season many would have gone bankrupt as almost their entire stock is perishable.
