Annemarie Plans, the founder, thinks so... I agree - in fact I stopped a few weeks back.

I agree. It's died down near us but I think it was time stop after the peak to be honest.

redandwhite1 · 22/05/2020 19:07

I still do it, love it but less and less are doing it

Paranoidmarvin · 22/05/2020 19:09

Please. People round here are banging pots and setting off fireworks. My cat has spent every Thursday shaking under the bed and not coming out for hours.

Theforest · 22/05/2020 19:09

We were the only ones out yesterday, although I could hear some clapping. I think now that this has been said, it will probably stop.

hopeishere · 22/05/2020 19:26

One final burst and then end it.

Bojohair · 22/05/2020 19:26

Yes please.

SierraHotel · 22/05/2020 19:28

I actually think the time has come to stop.

megletthesecond · 22/05/2020 19:30

Yes. The minute fireworks were set off it should have stopped.

MrsWhites · 22/05/2020 19:32

I think so, tell people it’s the last one so they can come out and join in, going out with lots of people joining in instead of less and less people joining in each week.

Lottiebugz22 · 22/05/2020 19:34

Yes it needs to end. Everyones kids keep getting woken up and it's a nightmare for parents of young children trying to settle them after all the chaos. It's not just clapping it's fireworks and car horns and loud music.

Thing is the NHS staff can't pay for things with applause.
