Should I self isolate?

Had to help out a friend on Monday in an emergency.
One of her colleagues has tested positive for coronavirus - should I now self isolate?

Neither of us have been in direct contact with the colleague who has tested positive. I've only been in contact with my friend, she has only been with her employer not the colleague - hopefully this explains better

Me - no symptoms
Friend - no symptoms
Friends employer - symptoms
Colleague - tested positive, no symptoms
Colleague father - tested posted, symptoms

No of course not

No, If everyone isolated in these scenarios the country would grind to a halt.

No. Your friend may want to get tested if her employer tests positive, but it depends when she saw her employer (and how, someone got anxious the other day about a parcel handled by someone who knew someone who knew someone with covid) and when the employer saw the unwell colleague.

She was trying to apply for a test when I spoke to her. Bless her, she has a toddler, works in a caring role and this was her first week back
