I see from the news that a lot of healthcare workers get infected and that's probably with PPE equipment. There's also some deaths within the healthcare workers.
That would tell me that viral load plays a huge part in all this.
So far the population has been educated on guidelines of what to do, eg:
- wash hands
- use tissue or you elbow for coughs, sneeze
- if you feel unwell, isolate into your room.
All that is well and good. So far I've experienced some rude behaviour.

I live at home. My mother doesn't care about containing her coughs. She coughs regularly. She thinks it's more dust related. She's not shielding age. She has limited her movements out and about and gets out into public about three times every 2 weeks. The rest is all rural walks. That's not the point though. What happens if she was to pick up the virus and she continues coughing the way she does. She doesn't care about protecting me.

I work as a home worker in a nanny role for a healthcare worker. She has experienced a sore throat over the past few days with white spots. She says it's tonsillitis. What if its viral though? Can the two Co exist together? A viral infection and a tonsillitis. I've seen her so many times breathing down the neck of one of her children who would be considered vulnerable because of the child's condition. Surely the woman should have isolated into her room or at the very least, wear a mask to protect her children especially her vulnerable child who she was up close with for a while. It looks to me as if she doesn't care about protecting her child from illness.
Will the population be educated on 'viral load' and the very importance of doing what's right eg, use tissues, your elbow, keep some distance, or use a mask if around children, etc
