So when I looked online about parents who are separated in regards to child access in a COVID 19 world. It said its allowed and considered essential travel!
So my little one has seen her dad for 2 days in 4 months (he lives in England with his mum and I live in Wales,) after a bit of negotiating I agreed to to letting her go over there for two weeks. They wanted her for a month but I thought that was a bit of absurd considering how she is just under 3 and has spent the last 2 months inside with me every single day!
What I want to know is if people think I'm being sensible or if it's the correct decision to do??xxx

From what you've said yes, you've made the right decision. I think there's been a lot of confusion over this, partly because initially said children couldn't travel, then they said they could.

I think the Family Court advice is good and allows for different situations, vulnerabilities and levels of anxiety.

My dc are 10 and 7 and I wouldn't allow them to go for a month and they certainly wouldn't want to. The longest they've ever stayed is 6 days and they've been seeing him EOW through this. YANBU
