The evening standard has reported that what will change from Thursday is 'more time outside'.
I'm not sure what this means. We will be free to go outside as often as we like and for as long as we like but that's all? A lot of people are already doing this as it's minimal risk to go for a walk 3 times a day instead of just once, like with your dog for example. Perhaps it will help people to feel more confident about being outside knowing they can officially go out more than once a day?
What if all that changes is you're allowed out twice a day? I'm all for the lockdown and keeping this virus at bay where possible but we probably need a little bit more than just an extra walk per day announced on Thursday. It will have been almost 7 weeks by then and I think people really do just want to hear a plan such as if the figures are at X amount by X date, you will be able to do X etc but also being fully aware that if we do not meet those figures, it won't happen. It might motivate people to stick to the guidelines and keep going.
Of course the evening standard could have pulled this out of their backside so it's again just speculation
