Another testing question.

Given that the Government have now extended testing to include, amongst others, care home residents and their carers and front line NHS staff, whether they are symptomatic or not, won't these tests need to be carried out regularly for these people to ensure they remain Covid free/are detected positive early?

Yes, that is why only antibody testing is accurate . You can test negative today, but that's irrelevant if you test positive tomorrow. It's only a snapshot in time.
Herd immunity is the way forward. We need to get the virus. It will more likely come back less lethal, if it does come back.
op, if you have a bit of time please watch the following video. The doctor goes on to explain how COVID 19 deaths are reported, and why the way in which they report is resulting in grossly inflated numbers. There are many doctors stating the very same thing, but they don't get any coverage on the news.
