Leaving the house twice

We live rural - back onto lots of fields and paths with only 100 or so houses within a mile of us . If we go for a walk we can walk out the village in 5 minutes, away from any houses, we very rarely see someone else and it’s very easy to keep to a distance of 50 feet or so . You can actually walk on the main roads here as all traffic has stopped except very occasional buses .

I’m overweight and would struggle to walk a very long walk - but can quite easily do two smaller eg a mile or two at a time .

We haven’t gone out more than once a day since the 13th March and never walked more than a mile, we aren’t shielding .

Would it be acceptable to just go out twice - eg once at 7am or so for a miles walk; and then again at about 8/9pm at night ? Happy to carry on as we are if we have to - but I’m wondering if it would be a serious massive risk to go out more than once ?

Live in Scotland so I’m aware things are a little bit more strict than England ie we can’t drive for exercise etc, if that makes any difference .

I do and I would if I were you Smile

LilacTree1 · 26/04/2020 16:26

it's not a risk and good for you to go out twice.

no doubt someone will come along and scream "murderer" at me for saying that.

Passthebubbly · 26/04/2020 16:26

Yes

DramaAlpaca · 26/04/2020 16:28

I'd do it if I were you. I think that's absolutely fine.

AdoptedBumpkin · 26/04/2020 16:28

Two short walks is allowed isn't it?

ScrapThatThen · 26/04/2020 16:29

I think it would be fine to apply common sense in this.

Letsdrinkgin · 26/04/2020 16:29

I go out more than once. It’s allowed

eleventy3isthemagicnumber · 26/04/2020 16:30

Just do it, it's fine. You're putting anyone at risk here.

coconuttelegraph · 26/04/2020 16:31

No idea about Scotland but I can't see that being an issue in England and without doubt is is definitely not a serious massive risk

Bubbinsmakesthree · 26/04/2020 16:33

Yeah just do it. It makes sense to apply some limits to ensure that in busy urban areas the streets and parks aren’t heaving With people out all day or multiple times a day.. But if you’re living in a remote area just apply common sense.

teenagetantrums · 26/04/2020 16:36

Yes. I go out more than once a day. Rural and nobody around. I am also still working so on my days off I'm trying to enjoy myself.
Wouldn't do it if l lived in London still.
