Fire cough

Partner burnt a few bits in the garden for about 90 mins 3 days ago. He said if he coughs obviously don't worry it's just because he breathed in some crap.
3 days on he's still coughing and quite harshly. Is it normal for a fire cough to last this long? Or should we now be isolating?

What was he burning? I would expect to be coughing 3 days after being eaten posed to a bonfire and I'm an asthmatic who is badly affected by any kind of smoke.
Has he been out and about and could have contracted the virus? Does he have any lung conditions or hay fever as the pollen is high at the moment? Any other symptoms?

No just the cough.
Garden waste, bits of wood etc

I would be concerned as there would be no reason to still be coughing after 3 days. Can he contact his GP? I contact mine via email at the moment. Hopefully it's nothing and will put him off contributing to air pollution and other people's breathing difficulties.

Haha yeah I'll pass that on. He's not real concerned for others including our household.
Ok I'll see if I can call someone medical because he won't.

In they case just leave him to it. He doesn't sound like someone who brings much to your life.
