Go back to the gov vulnerable form and refill it but put no help with food

You have to put need help with food to access the supermarket priority list for delivery slots, but this then triggers the govt food parcels. I just refused mine at the door, but not sure if they’ll come back again.

Contact your local council. They should be the ones organising it.

They tried reregistering but still keep getting them. No one knocks, they’re just left

It’s not mine it’s a friend. They don’t want it because they simply don’t need it. They have reoccurring deliveries and would rather it went to some one who does need it.

It’s the standard gov box comes with tins industrial loo roll, potatoes, apples rice pasta tea coffee uht milk etc

The boxes have instructions that say to stop the parcels, re-register and select yes to the question "do you have a way of getting essential supplies delivered at the moment" . Alternatively you can refuse at delivery which should allow them to be redirected to someone else

As I said above it will be your local council who you need to call.

I run a Food Bank and we have been given loads of excess food from the Government Food Boxes .... one is delivered weekly to a neighbour who has died .

Can you put a large sign up to be seen by the delivery person?

I would actually advise them to keep it, because the supermarkets don’t have everything you order and this will guarantee them some basics.

GP's have tried cancelling theirs several times, but no joy. Still being delivered and they don't want it, the contents are pretty awful. The neighbour is collecting it for them from the front door, and taking it to the food bank.

We have taken most of it to a food bank for them. It just seems a bit Unnecessary if they don’t need it to keep receiving them.

i'm just keeping mine, the fresh stuff like the fruit and veggies are useful, some of the cans not so much, anything long lasting I don't use I'll just donate when all this has calmed down.

Yes, as I said earlier in the thread. I now have priority access to both Ocado who I was already a customer of, and Sainsburys who I’ve never used for online shopping. I won’t use the Sainsburys slots obviously, and given I now have access to the food we need I don’t need free rations either. It’s a bit silly.
