I'm feeling so stressed and angry and like I could punch someone right now ( not literally obvs) and all my usual ways of letting steam involve other people, or places that arent open right now. Things like 5 Rhythms dance, swimming etc. Even sex! Feel like I'm gonna explode. I'm drinking way to much to de stress but that's no solution! Any ideas? Or just suck it up like we all have to...?

Punch cushions
Listen to really loud music on headphones
Run until exhausted
Go somewhere deserted and just... scream

Punch a pillow across a superking bed repeatedly from one side to the other (loud music not essential but helps) Grin

Not being obtuse but are you talking about anger and stress related to lockdown? i.e are you talking about something you have little/no control over? Or is there another situation that has made you angry? Just asking so we are all giving you appropriate advice Smile

If it's the former, I have a very old fashioned method but it always works for me. I sit down quietly and I "Count My Blessings" and write them down. I start with really simple and basic things that I know other people are so in need of. So my list might look something like

  1. I have a home
  2. Nobody is physically hurting me
  3. I have enough food and drink to survive.

on and on.......................

By the time I have finished I usually feel really blessed, privileged and happy.
