Will I need to take proof of reason for my journey when I take my daughter to school tomorrow?

My daughter is going back to school tomorrow. It's an independent specialist across the County border about twenty miles from home. Obviously I will be making the journey twice a day for the foreseeable and can envisage that at some point I will be stopped.
I will have the school's contact details and an email confirming that school reopens tomorrow on my phone will that be sufficient or do I need to ask the school for a letter or something?
If anyone has been stopped, do the police require more than a phone number or the copy of an email?

I've not heard of anyone being stopped. Are you in the UK? It's an essential journey. I wouldn't even think of evidence.

How is your school opening? Surely it’s only open for vulnerable or key workers children?

It's an independent specialist school so by default all children have EHCPs so would be considered vulnerable. It isn't open for childcare my daughter is going back to a normal timetable.

We have been doing 3 hours of travelling to from school since most schools shut and have never been stopped.

Oh thank you I'm probably being neurotic but know dd will get is a real state if we are stopped so would like to have anything I need at hand to get away as quickly as possible.
