So reassuring to read this although obviously very sorry for all of us.

Day 30 - GP called. She ran through everything with me. Normally they would have me in for bloods and possible x ray now but they can't even though I am no longer contagious. They can no longer refer unless I can't breathe or they suspect sepsis is basicially what she said. I am so so fatigued today. Feel like I did 2 weeks ago. Pains are there but lessened by paracetamol and lying in bed.

I am very fed up now and feel seriously unwell. Have the jittery thing, jelly legs, headache, back ache etc etc. Also have the noise sensitivity, have had that throughout other than the few days i thought I was improving.

Today my mum is trying to book me in privately for a blood test. I am worried my iron levels are dangerously low. Dr said this is definitely possible (i am borderline anaemic) but nothing she can do currently. If nothing else i think a blood test would offer a little reassurance. Will keep you posted.

@stayathomegardener if you set up another thread please let us know the name.

Sending well wishes to all. I know how hard this is. My DH has swung back to full on caring mode so that's something but i know we don't all have that.

@longshot your symptoms and feelings are exactly how I feel too - and I’m only day 24. If you find a private blood test place and London based let me know! Could you expand on the jittery thing? I definitely feel shaky and jumpy, like my nerves are on end.

I’ve also the “washing machine on spin” inside my chest when lying in bed at night trying to drop off. Kind of behind my ribs, but in the middle. That’s got to be my nerves doing something weird?

@stayathomegardener I think that's a good idea too. If I came on here now at the start of an illness, I think I might find the thread a bit unhelpful and also people way down the line so busy with answering each that I received no support or attention. Also, they are listing gears and symptoms that I may well never experience.

Day 31 breathless. Tired. Jaw pain (possibly because I have been grinding my teeth). Coughing. Congested. Sore back. Tight chest. Odd feeling in my throat and chest when I try to drop off to sleep.

Fed up today.

@stayathomegardener can you please link in here for us?

I've named it 30+ but please don't see that day as a barrier, it's based on a link someone posted to timelines.

Tried to tag who I could remember but am dyslexic and got confused I suspect with user... names and potentially others.

If anyone could start a lungs 7 that would be great so I could follow and offer support there.
Might be worth putting up the Queens breathing video, oximeter links, caring for a relative at home video and @Casino218 recent
NHS guideline link right at the beginning?

Anxiety can cause a lot of symptoms we are all struggling with ...I get chest pain every time I watch an update!Hmm

I'm on day 23 and feel fine but the sore throat is still there ...would love to know if I've had it but nobody in my family seems to have caught it ....just weird

Day 10ish, no temp since day 7.
I'm still really pale but every pain I had is so much less.
I've had no dizziness or heart palpitations today.
I've had some chest pain from heartburn and a very slight cough.
I don't want to tempt fate but I feel almost normal today

Please could someone start lungs 7 so I can follow and add early days support.

@Crayfishforyou that's fantastic you are feeling better but I was too one day 10 and quickly went downhill. If you can just dial back despite feeling well I think this would pay off.

Thank you stayathomegardener
I am terrified of sliding down again, I am doing nothing at all other than sitting on the sofa.
I'm over a hill but not out of the woods.
But i am hoping with every fibre of my being after improving over the last three days that this might be the beginning of recovery.

First symptoms (feeling of pressure on trachea) starteted 4 weeks ago tomorrow. Although chest tight, each day was feeling easier (anxiety in evenings about chest and breathing not great) but today I feel like I've slipped back 2 weeks with trapped wind type aches and pains in my ribs and chest and I'm coughing more. Still a dry and non-productive cough. I've no energy and I'm back in the bath (the only place I felt better during the worst of it).

I wish this would do one.

@Kitcat122, thank you for your response. I really would like to chat with anyone that has been experiencing this non-stop fire in the chest. It is so unusual. Something I have never experienced. Having a CT of my chest in a few days ordered from my Pulmonologist and a EcoCardiogram of my heart on the 14th. I have had many spinal surgeries and I know what nerve pain feels like. I also have Sarcoidosis so this could be a flare but is not the way it happened in 2013-14. This is not that kind of pain. Even my skin is super sensitive and painful to touch over my chest. So strange. Any returns will be greatly appreciated, sending love

@2bwell early on my skin was very sensitive. One day I couldn't put my arms down as arm skin touching body skin was so tender.

Hey all, hope everyone is coping.

I'm 20 days since subtle symptoms and 12 / 13 since the very uncomfortable.

Yesterday it was great to have a day with almost no breathing troubles or pains on my chest and back.

Today the breathlessness has returned with that need to constantly take an unsatisfactory deep breathe. I'm also zonked.

I wonder if anyone can relate to 3 interesting observations I've made.

Last night, following a 'good day' I was able to sleep in a lower position on my side for the 1st time in about 10 days. Today I feel rotten I wonder if the position could be partly responsible. Has anyone tested this consistently? Tonight I will resume my very uncomfortable elevated side sleeping position. I wish I could sleep on my front.

Since starting the breathing exercises and spending a lot of time laying on my front I have developed quite a cough -- up until this point I only had an intermittent 'bark'. I don't seem able to clear the congestion though. Has anyone found this?

Since I became ill I have not had a temp over 37.1! I've been chilled, shaking, boiling, heart pounding and sweating very profusely but never recorded a high temp. I've tested with 2 thermometers countless times and tend to run at 36.5. Has anyone else observed this?

Thanks, stay strong.
