Supermarkets

I have to go out to get shopping for MIL. She has said she needs it now, but I know she has some food, so won't starve. I can't decide whether to go today or delay until tomorrow.
Has anyone been shopping today? Was it really busy?
Also, has anyone been to Iceland recently. Was it well stocked? I know it'll vary around the country. The frozen dept in my local supermarket was bare.
I've got asthma and I'm trying to stay in and avoid other humans as much as possible.

Also was going to ask. Are some supermarkets limiting the number of customers more than others?

If someone told me they need their shopping 'now', that would trigger my stubborn streak and I'd leave it until tomorrow. But that's just me!

Yes, supermarkets are busy but quite well stocked. Queues at my local Sainsburys are about an hour long just to get in the door. Once you're in, they have plenty. Not sure about Iceland though,

If you're sure she won't starve, leave it until tomorrow and look after yourself, especially if you have asthma.

The queues tend to look longer than they are because everyone is stood 2 metres apart.
Maybe go tomorrow, some stores have the first hour for elderly and vulnerable so would give that a swerve and go late morning.

I'd leave it til tomorrow altho with so many off work it won't make huge differences. However I figure leaving buying milk and bread til as late as possible is always a good plan so it last fresh longer into the next week
