Been out shopping at our local farm shop. It has yellow lines, explanations, 6 in at a time, no trolley no entry etc. All really easy to follow.
We were queueing, it seems that many people who have never been before have realised how well stocked they are in fruit, veg, meat etc. A staff member was joking about loyalty card holders getting the gold plated trolleys (they sprayed a couple when Charlotte du Jardin won Olympic gold, she's a regular) one woman started arguing that this would be discrimination and she would report them. A N Other asked who to and there was a bit of a giggle.
Suddenly there was a car horn blowing. A man who has driven in, parked near the queue and realised it has about 8 people in it, decided to drive out.... through the queue. Previously grumpy woman won our joint respect by shouting that his car MUST have a reverse gear... he carries on driving through us all.
So... I was wondering. Are such people like this normally? Or is it perhaps that life tends not to thwart them much so they haven't developed proper adult responses to being stymied?
Of the 10 or so people this was 20ish % being twattish (though I could make an exception for the woman after her 2nd interaction).
How will they cope? Do we have enough patios?
