Easter holidays - ideas for kids

Is it just me feeling apprehensive about the Easter 'holidays' with the stuck at home with little schoolwork to do? Mine have been fairly occupied up until now but I am seeing far too many hours on screens coming up so trying to get a list of alternative things to do, other than a daily walk/run.

Here's my list to start...

  • teach them to prepare at least one dish each that could be served for dinner
  • trawl though (thousands!) of old photos and make a photo book each for themselves
  • some kind of art project
-watch some streamed theatre productions

Anyone got any good ones? My DC's are 14, 11 and 10

I’ve gone around the house and written down everything we have that the kids could do, long forgotten craft/science kits, all out board games, Rubin cube, etc etc
Then I’ve written each one on a slip of paper. Coloured for catergories: cane be done by themselves/can be done with each other/needs adult supervision/outside in garden/board game.
Then they can pick out an activity based on the above criteria. I’ve found it helps direct them to an activity rather than having to make a decision.

Origami
Make a Lego stop action movie
Learn coding

I'm getting DD to do photo book too.
She's a keen photographer, so will do some projects.
Crafts
Continuing learning an instrument she plays
She loves baking
She's got an area of garden that is 'hers'.
She's an avid reader, and school have sent a huge suggested reading list.
I've told her it's vital she keeps in touch with her mates.
Clearing out her cupboards.
Thank you letters to local hospital, care home etc.

Hopefully she can do this all quietly, with minimal supervision while I wfh.
