We had withdrawn from the world 1 week before PM instructions to. I remember last time I was in a cafe there was a woman sneezing opposite us.
It started Thursday 19th March. Mild. Dry infrequent cough which has continued throughout.
'Shuddering' sound in my ears like wind round chimneys.
Sore dry eyes - ordinary eye drops helpful.
On Thursday 26th had a very dry sharp sandpapered feeling in nose and roof of mouth. (I don't suffer from allergies/hay fever).
I've completely lost my sense of smell and taste over the last few days. Can't taste Listerine, garlic, extra mature cheese, chocolate, coffee … nothing at all. Can't even tell the difference between savoury & sweet.
Some sneezing, slight headache.
Fatigued - tending to fall asleep front of TV. If I'm not consciously active, feel very sluggish. Sleeping well.
No usual cold-type lower sore throat or swollen neck glands.
No sniffing, it's unusually un-snotty for me. General absence of phlegm (sorry!) so not a cold.
No fever other than generally a bit warm (post menopausal).
No nausea or diarrhoea (OH has had a little but refuses to contact 111).
Breathing OK, doing exercises, talking ok.
NHS 911 said typical mild symptoms and to self isolate, which we have been doing anyway.
Two weeks in now, so it's not a cold.
All best to you and yours.
