Nothing. Nothing is helping right now and my MH is heading for rock bottom. I’ve tried all the crap about yoga and stuff but it doesn’t help. I’m a single mum, DS is 1. Lockdown needs to be over after the 3 weeks as it will mean disaster for people like me of it goes on any longer.

I am doing much better as we go into the third week, as I've established a routine. Get up, wash dress, do some work (either actual work or jobs around house) make a proper lunch, go out for exercise, get dinner, do some yoga, TV.

I felt all adrift the first week with no routine.

Also, I'm spending less time on MN! I love the opportunity to discuss issues but I don't think it's always very good for me.

I'm still working so there's a sense of normality there but I'm increasingly feeling like my colleague (we are a team of two) is relying on me too much for social and emotional support on our shifts which is bringing its own problems, when I just want to get it done and go home.

Anyway, I've been getting myself out daily for a brisk walk around my local big park with the tunes blasting for a mental lift. Either really early when it's quiet or late before it gets too dark.

I've cut the alcohol, sugar, takeaways, and have been doing a 7 min YouTube workout, and trying to leave this lockdown a bit trimmer. I'm looking around my house to see what I could improve, decor etc.

I confided in a friend that it can be tough sometimes living alone, especially through times like this and she came past my street on her daily walk to give me a wave and we ended up having a 2 min conversation from my window (anymore prob would've annoyed the neighbours!) but something as little as that really gave me a boost and got me up and out to do my walk that I hadn't done as motivation was low.

Every little helps.
