Can I fly a kite?

I bought a kite to fly in the park whilst maintaining social distancing and waking my toddler during our one trip out.

My husband says flying a kite is not essential and I shouldn't do it and should just walk round and come home?

What do you think ?

Someone was out with their drone on the football field today- it did feel wrong but I am not sure why, they kept their distance from others.

Well you're not exercising if you're stood still holding a bit of string are you?

Nothing to say you have to stand still to fly a kite. And if flying a kite makes it more likely you'll walk, then that's good for your health.

Technically you would have to be very sure that your kite wouldn't land on somebody as it is a potentially infected surface. People may be concerned about it.
