Scared he might infect me and the baby

I'm off work for 12 weeks and will then be on maternity leave. My husband works for the council and apparently is a key worker so is out with the public every day for 8 hours. I don't want him at home. I'm terrified of catching coronavirus of him. It's not even like he comes home and has a shower or changes. (He does eventually but not straight away).
Is it unreasonable for me to ask him to stay elsewhere? I feel I am being really nasty but the death toll keeps rising and he's working in parks and fields so really exposed to people all the time. If I wasn't pregnant I'd be less worried but no-one really knows how babies will be affected and it's this that scared me so much.

How will he be in contact with people all the time if most people are at home indoors?

Because people are allowed out for exercises or to go to shops. It may not be as many people as usual but there will still be people walking their dogs, going for walks or runs.

If he’s only in contact with people in the form of being in the same park or field as them at the same time (presumably landscaping or similar?) then I would think that in an open space like that it would be easy enough to stay the recommended 2 meters distance away from them?

YABU

If people are keeping away from him then he should be ok. I would ask him to go straight to have a shower and put his clothes in the wash before he came near me though.

I can only hope. I suspected I was being unreasonable but think I'm worried as one of his colleagues is in hospital and it doesn't look good but obviously I don't know if he caught it from being at work. He is usually on mowers but people do get stupidly close but just hope they're being more considerate now.

YABU. But he should wash his hands (or even shower) and change clothes as soon as he comes in.

My DH is in a council office. I'd be less worried if be was outdoors all day. Much more likely to pick it up indoors.

How does he travel to work? I've taken to driving my DH as I don't want him taking the train.
