Nobody seems to sell it and it's being work for ridiculously hikes up prices on places like ebay.

Is this all the people of Britain drink?! 😱

I bloody love it. Being a general prepper I had a buffer of a few boxes built up over the past year. I lived abroad for years without a decent cuppa so I will have to default to that mode once I run out.

Not here, revolting stuff. PG Tips or Tetley for this house.

Frownette · 01/04/2020 10:22

Not decaf, no

LoveLongLife · 01/04/2020 10:24

I'm just wondering why the supermarkets can't seem to re stock it like they have managed to replenish toilet paper!

I know which is more important to me!

I get mine from B&M - they usually have loads, but I haven't been in for a couple of weeks.

Shitsgettingcrazy · 01/04/2020 10:25

Not decaf

EffOrf · 01/04/2020 10:27

DH has Waitrose own decaffeinated which he says is the best and we haven't seen it for about a month In store, luckily I had bought a couple of extra boxes beforehand but they only do 80s packs

Doyoumind · 01/04/2020 10:29

They may be focusing on the production of normal tea at the moment, due to extra demand, which has resulted in a low supply.

FoxtrotOscarPoppet · 01/04/2020 10:30

Yep. It’s the only decaf tea that still tasted like normal tea when I was pregnant. I’ve stuck with it ever since.

LoveLongLife · 01/04/2020 10:32

Same as me, fox

And I fear the awful withdrawal headaches if I go back to caffeinated!

Clipper or Twinings decaf are better. Other company use very nasty chemicals (think nail polisher remover type substance) to remove the caffeine. Clipper and Twinings are the only ones I can find that use a natural process involving carbon dioxide to decaffeinate the leaves. Completely harmless.

cupoftea84 · 01/04/2020 10:52

Same here. Started drinking it when pregnant and have stayed with it.

Tesco's usually have it. M+s own brand decaf is ok as well.

Annoying that's it's never on offer and usually comes in small boxes.

ArkAtEee · 01/04/2020 10:53

I think they must. We've got a couple of bags left then we're onto PG Tips...

handmademitlove · 01/04/2020 11:01

I get Typhoo decaf - disappeared from the supermarkets about a year ago and now I bulk buy from amazon on subscribe and save :-)

JanewaysBun · 01/04/2020 11:24

Of course I only drink that - it's the best one Grin
Sad to hear it may be low in stock though, I'm so lucky about tea lol

JanewaysBun · 01/04/2020 11:24

*picky
