She had underlying health conditions but such a shock.
She’s been ill at home with symptoms but nothing requiring medical assistance.
It all seems so very real and scary now.

So sorry to read this. It's very frightening as really people need testing and checking over when they are unwell. Especially with it being a new virus. I feel people are being left too it with "milder cases" but I've seen several stories this week of poor people dying at home. How sad. I really am sorry. I just hope this hell ends soon. So many beautiful people lost to this shitty virus.

If the GP thinks it is covid19 they can put that on the death certificate on clinical judgment.

It does make you wonder - if people are dying at home and they're signing them off as heart attacks or other things, how much are the figures skewed, and how many are really dying from CV but not being reported?

I hope your FIL gets suitable treatment for his own symptoms OP. Please take care.
