I keep noticing angry posts from friends on social media complaining about shops and parks being over crowded. This is often followed by a plea for the government to extend the lockdown.
If you're visiting those spaces then you are adding to the footfall. YOU are part of the problem.
I'm not commenting one way or the other about the rights and wrongs of the lockdown. It just makes me chuckle when I see people get so mad at others for evaluating the risks involved in going outside and acting accordingly - whilst they themselves do the same.
Has anyone else had a similar thought? Like, fair enough people out in big groups having large gathering is wrong but I see many people getting mad for minor infringements. Two people walking together who refuse to walk 2 meters apart. If they're in the same household then why should they?
I've seen so many angry facebook posts of people who have got back from a visit outside complaining that too many people are flouting the rules - ie leaving their houses. We are all in this together and I think its hypocritical of people to get mad at the footfall of public spaces when they are out themselves
