Anyone a key worker but not sending child to nursery? Are you still paying?

I’m not a key worker, I work PT and put my child in nursery for the days I work. My partner is classed as a key worker, and the nursery already knew and rang to let us know our child could still attend. My work has since closed, so I have not sent my child to nursery, yet I have emailed them 3 times now asking what am I expected to pay if anything, and they won’t answer my question.
I understand I’m voluntarily not sending my child, but they have since sent an email saying all non key workers children’s payments have been paused. What happens to us who don’t need childcare for a key worker role but for the non key workers job?

Both key workers but working from home our nursery have said we can send her as they have low numbers but we decided not to... we are paying 50% fees

DH and I both key workers and not sending our children to nursery / out of school club. Have heard nothing from them and will pay full fees for April but am going to email and ask what the plan is going forward. I know they have furloughed some staff so am expecting their costs to have reduced so will wait and see.

Thank you, I have emailed them today saying I need to know by Wednesday at the latest, as although my emails are being ignored, they are still finding time to advertise on their Facebook for key workers! I just want to know one way or another, we all have enough to worry about.

Nursery have treated us the same as all other parents. Government guidance is clear that childcare is an option if you absolutely need it, theres no expectation to take it up. So I'd be up in arms if I felt I were being treated differently to a non key worker in terms of fees.

Since sending out the April bill 2 weeks ago our nursery haven't said anything about fees going forward.
I am a keyworker but haven't had to send DD2 in as my office closed the day before she would have gone in and I'm working from home.
If it was confirmed that schools wouldn't be reopening until September I would withdraw her as she's due to start school in September and I've got an older one at home too. Just got to wait and see I suppose.

How will this work with tax credits? I take it you have to inform them of a drop in childcare charges until everything goes back to normal?

Both key workers but decided not to send him. We're voluntarily paying half fees.

Our daughter is a nurse, our granddaughter went to nursery twice a week until last week, I'm working from home and have reduced my hours to look after her so she doesn't need to go. They live with us so we aren't breaking any rules. Nursery have said there will be no fees to pay.

I’m a key worker but and we were told DD could have a place. However we gave up the 2.5 days of childcare (other 2.5 days is grandparents but obviously that has stopped too) a few days later when we found out DH had been furloughed. Not paying for the time DD isn’t attending nursery and getting refunded for the week or so that we’d paid for and not used during March!
