When can I come out if isolation after COVID-19 symptoms?

I'm finding the guidelines for this confusing. I'm on day 7 of symptoms and have definitely improved. According to the NHS I should be able to go back to normal tomorrow and mix with the rest of the household unless I still have a fever. My fever went down yesterday for the first time in 6 days.

However the WHO advises that you should still self isolate for a further 2 weeks after your symptoms end...! But what symptoms are they referring to? A cough that can last weeks? The fatigue and weakness that you'll probably be left with? When your fever ends?

The CDC in the US says stay isolated for 3 days after your fever ends.

Everything seems to be about stopping getting it but what about after you've had it.

Does anyone have any ideas or can direct me to some research they've read - I haven't been able to find anything.

NHS just seems to say if you feel better and your fever had gone then you can come out of SI. The cough can linger for weeks afterwards

This is advice:

After 7 days, if the first person to become ill feels better and no longer has a high temperature, they can return to their normal routine. If any other family members become unwell during the 14-day household-isolation period, they should follow the same advice - that is, after 7 days of their symptoms starting, if they feel better and no longer have a high temperature, they can also return to their normal routine.
