I've just read the worst or the peak could be over by Easter.
What would that mean ?
Would shops etc start opening and pubs?

I don't understand how as soon as we come out of lock down that it won't just surge again and we will back here.

'only' 9000 people have had it in the UK so far what is the thinking - that in 3 weeks everyone who has it will know they have it and that's the end? I just don't see it some how. It just takes 1 person to have it and start spreading and the whole thing kicks off again.

No way, peaking does not mean its over. Italy might even have started to slow but look at the mess they are still in

The true figure of those that have had it here is much higher than the official figure due to not testing enough. We are only testing serious hospital cases on the whole.

I don’t think people can compare here to China. We have barely the same amount of people over there who are all crammed in. I think it’s not going to be as bad as people are thinking, and I also think a lot of people who haven’t been tested have probably a normal cold/flu and counting it at as the virus

Today, then Deputy CMO said we are not able to predict at this point. Experts are, of course, giving varied opinions but overall, we are not being advised this will be over soon. It may be but there is no firm consensus on this yet.
