Hi,
I’m so angry.
Please explain to me how my work place thinks that someone having their boobs done or having a hair transplant during this epidemic is acceptable! They are refusing to close ! Yes okay whilst at work we were PPE but all work requires very close contact with patients and employees, there’s no getting away from it in our line of work. Two colleagues walked out today and work rung them and said come back or your not being paid. And stated that we were key workers! Well that’s funny because the school didn’t seem to think so when I asked if my son could go to school!
I spoke to CQC earlier who said they can’t advise.
Cosmetic surgery is not essential! I can’t believe that the surgeon is even carrying out procedures!
Any advise on what steps to take ?
I’ve also spoken to ACAS who told me to refer to the gov website. The problem is it’s not clear enough to force them to close.
Any one else in the same situation?

Thanks in advance xxxx

Is this private hospital fully equipped to deal with any eventuality should something go wrong with any of these procedures? Is it using medical supplies and equipment which the NHS needs?Confused

I'm stunned anyone would turn up for these unnecessary cosmetic treatments at the moment.

@ErrolTheDragon
It’s a hospital, of course it’s equipped incase something went wrong.
Regarding PPE that NHS need, there isn’t a shortage. Manufacturing company’s have all the equipment needed coming out of their ear holes. The problem is it’s not being distributed correctly or quick enough. I think it’s selfish of my employer to force us to go in and irresponsible of the patients choosing for their surgery’s to go ahead.
