Is this a temperature?

Before anyone calls me daft or anything I've done so much googling and I can't decide what to do. I'm quite anxious about getting the virus as I work for the NHS and need to keep working if I can. My temperature is fluctuating and I keep feeling very warm. I've had a sore throat for a few days but no coughing. Not pregnant, not menopausal.

I take my temp fairly often for TTC purposes and so know my body temperature when taken orally averages about 36.4c during the day.

On Sunday night I suddenly felt really hot and took my temperature which was about 36.8c. By Monday morning I felt fine again and my temp was back to 36.1 (not unusual first thing in the morning for me) so I went to work. I felt a bit warm through the day but put it down to the radiators having been on in a small office over the weekend.

Today, sat in the office and started to feel very warm, face felt very hot and team leader said I looked flushed. We agreed I would come home. Took my temp and it was 36.98c. Took it again two hours later and it was 37.1c. Just taken it now and it's 36.5c.

None of these temperatures would necessarily indicate a true fever I don't think, but it's going up and down and I keep feeling very warm. Would you treat this as a need to start self isolating or do you think it's safe?

I think you're over thinking this. Normal adult temperature ranges between 36.1 and 37.2 so you are well within normal ranges......

Ok thank you. Just nervous I guess.

My temp is normally 35.8 because I haveBradycardia. I can tell when it's gone up to say 36.5/37 and I feel a bit clammy but it still went right up to 38.5 last week when I got ill. So if you are getting ill it will shoot up past 37.8 when your immune system starts to fight the virus if you get it.

Mine did start with a sore throat and head and it was two days after the fever etc started with the other symptoms.

Thank you @scbchl that’s really useful to know.
