Not stockpiling vs shopping as infrequently as possible

Boris wants us to shop as infrequently as possible. How much food do you intend to buy in one go? A week? 2? A month?
Obviously infrequently is better from an infection point of view but you're likely to face abuse if you try and get enough for a month in one go. When does it become stock piling?

I feel the same.. I'm afraid you can't win either way I got abuse for getting my usual shop Im an NHS worker and got an extra toilet roll (I say extra but it wasn't I would have been entitled to 2 anyway should I have wanted them) an elderly gentleman had been waiting since 8.20 outside but they weren't letting them in unto half an hour after us and he only had 1 toilet roll at home so I gave him a pack.. Group of women called me a selfish c**t.. I literally had a normal shop nothing special.. Only think was I had a multi box of baby wipes.. Only because we were down to 1 packet at home as everyone had cleared the shelves whenever I went so needed to get them this once then wouldn't need to for a while.. Nope still note good enough.. You can't win people are nasty regardless

Don’t shop as often but when you go to shop you are limited to a certain number of items and you cannot buy as much as you would usually as lots of things are out of stock. Doesn’t add up.

I’m hoping to be allowed to continue as normal which is shop 2 weekly. So as long as we’re allowed to buy enough for 2 weeks worth I will continue to do so, however have to usually go another 2 or so times in the 2 weeks for fresh veg
