Guidance re: child with asthma and schools

If a child has asthma, am I right in thinking a school is unlikely to accept them into school even though their parent is a key worker?

I was sent to work from home last week and my manager phoned me today and essentially told me I can't work from home and have a child there at the same time. She said I needed to get him into school, but when I mentioned that he had asthma, all she said was that she would pass the information on 🤷‍♀️

We turned away a child of a key worker today because they had not gotten approval from the head teacher and because they have asthma.

You can't send your child to work if you're working from home. Your employer is wrong.

If you're at home, your child should be at home.

@Photosymphysis that's what I thought.
It may be because my work deals with potentially sensitive information (I work with vulnerable families but only a level 2 on safeguarding) but even so, I don't call anyone when my son is next to me and take necessary precautions to ensure confidentiality 🤷‍♀️
