What is a dangerous temperature in adults?

I can’t find a definitive answer on the NHS website.

Over 39 is high. Over 40 I would start to get concerned. Over 41 I would be seeking medical advice.

For self isolation purposes it's 37.8 and over.

Apologies for not coming back to the thread sooner - we had a 39.4er in the house (adult) when I started it.

Now we’ve a DC with a temp of 37.8 at bedtime this evening, after a slight cough during the day (sleeping happily now).
