A bit of positivity - who will benefit from self isolation?
GlummyMcGlummerson · 22/03/2020 18:27
To try and look at it from a different angle can we think of people who may benefit from self isolation (aside from everyone of course!):
- Women having babies as only 1 birthing partner and 1 visitor in postnatal ward at a time. We see SO MANY threads about disrespectful people coming in to postnatal wards making life miserable for vulnerable women, men sleeping next to them and snoring, privacy eradicated. Hopefully this will be a more peaceful experience.
- people facing eviction or balliff action- new protections are in place and balliffs will (hopefully!!) be at home and not working
Any more?
PS I know it's awful for so many people but I don't want the thread to be the focus of that

And it will also be nice not to be groped for a while or have random men to that thin where they touch your waist or shoulders when squeezing past

My son has really benefitted. He has some emotional difficulties - he is usually aggressive, agitated, volatile and emotional. 11 days into isolation and he's relaxed, happy, engaging and focused. It's beautiful
