People with nannies/sitters - what are you doing?

Is your nanny and/or sitter still coming to you as normal? Can’t decide what to do. We are WFH so we kind of need it, but obviously her coming into the house is ‘mixing’. Plus she desperately needs the cash. What are others doing?

My sitting business has completely folded. It wouldn't be responsible for me to carry on right now. The schools are shut and so am I.
How we're going to eat I don't know

I’m paying my after school nanny but she’s not coming. Because I’m here now but also because I don’t want mixing. I said we’d review in a month.

Hi, my nanny is still coming but we are going to pick her up and take her back.

Following the guidelines from the gov if you work from home then you need to look after the children yourself rather than risking spreading the virus.

Yes, having the exact same dilemma here. Having her here would make working from home much easier for us but I'm not sure it would be the 'right' thing to do for her, or for us. It is not 'essential' work.

Same issue here. I’m classed as a key worker (public infrastructure) so technically eldest (4) could go to school but we have decided not to send him.

Totally unsure about what to do with our (live out) Nanny. She’s happy to work, at the moment anyway but husband and I don’t agree. Me - against. Husband - for keeping.
