Random side effects of isolation

(Lighthearted)

My unwashed hair has been up for the past three days (usually a daily washer) and still feels relatively clean!!

My skin care routine has gone out the window. But as I've not worn makeup my skin is incredible at the moment!!!

What about you?

I usually share parenting 50/50 with my ex. He is currently insisting on keeping our 10yr old son for two weeks each during the crisis. He says his new family are in the at risk category. While I don’t want to risk anyone’s health I do not want to agree to two weeks on and off indefinitely. I suggested a week would be fine and if any symptoms show then both families isolate.... there is no advice out there.... if anyone knows of any government or official advice that may help me! Thank you!

Our cats are loving having us at home all day.

Idkkem, the official advice would be that your ex should also be in isolation and phone contact only with your son. The two weeks doesn't make any sense, it should be three is following the development of this, but it shouldn't be happening at all.

My side effect is my house being constantly really clean. I usually do a thorough clean when I have my GC to stay and it can be hit and miss between that, except for kitchen/bathroom. I've sorted out my bedroom drawers and I'm putting washing away more efficiently, just in case I've got to ask someone to bring something into hospital for me. I've got new pjs and I've packed a hospital bag. It just makes me feel prepared.

I’m going to save £200 a month that I usually spend on petrol (of course lucky to have job / wfh, sympathies to those who don’t etc etc)

I'm going to declare my car as SORN.
My garden is having a thorough tidy
My usually angry and agitated 3 year old is engaging and loving and calm.
