I'm not working in the nhs but I'm a Civil Servant and not able to work from home - yet. There's not many people left in the office but I'm still worried about potentially picking up the virus and bringing it home with me.

What are others doing? Is it worth me getting straight in the shower and changing clothes when I get home? Will this make a difference? I guess not if I've caught it.

I'm obviously staying as far away as possible from everyone at work and washing hands properly and frequently. Any other ideas?

Clean your desk/ work space with dettol wipes. Don't share cutlery or crockery. Only make drinks for yourself.

These are things that we're doing.

OK. Thanks. Thats all stuff I do - glad I'm doing the right thing. I'm also glad we don't hot desk. I've also stopped buying the odd drink or snack from the snack place. I'm only having what I bring in from home.

I was going to switch to sandwiches so I didn't have to use the kitchen facilities as much.
If I had a flask I'd maybe use that rather than having to use the kitchen for coffee too.
I wash hands a lot and use sanitiser imbetween.
Don't know what else I can do.
