Is there a good book (or app?) For me to teach myself?

We have an electric piano , bought for DC but that idea soon wore off!

I know I saw an advert a little while ago for a brilliant looking app which you prop up in place of a music book with a normal piano or electronic keyboard and it listens to your playing and gives you a points score - it looked brilliant and I have been trying to find it again. Hopefully will find it via this thread - or if I find it elsewhere I will update.

Yes, I had a week’s free trial of Simply Piano on iPad mentioned by PP. My piano playing is BASIC!

It was great fun but I couldn’t justify the €200 to sign up permanently.

My adult pupils all like the piano time series.

Good luck!

I've been using Get Set Piano to teach my niece and she's progressing well with those. Combined with Music Theory for Young Musicians Grade 1 to help understand the theory side. The theory book is great as presents the same information in different ways with exercises to complete. Hope that helps OP.

I am 55 yo, I have been learning for a year.
My book is "Its Never Too Late to Play Piano" by Pam Wedgewood.

The Simply Piano app is expensive but really good!
