A Thought re Frontline Staff and Supermarkets

Can supermarkets take in effect a small store into the places where frontline workers are, just for the staff?

It would reduce the chances of such workers not being able to get food due to the ignorant arses who are sweeping shelves clear.

sorry who? who is 'taking' in stock to hospitals full of infected people?

have you thought this idea through?

Yes. In so far as it's an idea and open to discussion. Staff suitably suited and booted. Card transactions only. Produce under covers.

Or, possibly a wagon in the carpark if going into the hospital is a step too far.

In our hospital local community have arranged to go and buy basics from local supermarkets. Think bread, milk, eggs, tins of beans type things. They are then taking them into the canteen so that shift workers or anyone desperate can go and collect enough to get them through. It's not ideal, it shouldn't be needed but it is very welcome and spectacularly kind.
