Does anyone else agree?
It like the nation has had a meltdown and no one can walk past a roll of toilet paper on the shelf without taking it even if they have 16373 rolls at home.
This panic buying is going to run us down.

Spoke to a co worker of mine who said his butcher who also supplies local shops has lost business from restaurants/cafes that have closed down but overall his demand has gone from 1000 to 5000 crates a day!

We will run out of food but not because of supply chains and there not being enough it's because we can't stop bloody panic buying!

It's because of very selfish people. You can call it what you want... prepping, hoarding, panic buying, it is the me me me people who don't give a damn about anyone else.

They don't care about key workers, about nurses on shift keeping others alive, the elderly, those who live rurally and can't pop to the shops to check (that's me).

I have just been trying to do my normal shop. I have not seen loo rolls for god knows how long. There is no meat, fruit, veg anywhere and I live a 20 mile round trip from my nearest big supermarket.

Feel free to come on here and justify why your cupboards, freezers, fridges, garages are full to bursting but you'll probably get a mouthful from me.

All I want are some mince, onions, chicken breasts, loo rolls, carrots, rice, pasta, potatoes, brocoli or any green veg. Two supermarkets yesterday, shelves bare.

Just sit down and have a think. You are depriving others. If you can live with yourself with bulging shelves and cupboards, you are not a nice person.
