Holiday cottage in uk

It would be insane to go on holiday to remote holiday cottage in the uk in April, wouldn't it?

Even if we had a Tesco delivery and stayed isolated? Means we couldn't do half the things we'd planned to.

But I don't want to risk possibly bringing the virus to remote holiday cottage...

Our holiday company will let us reschedule for free. Think we will do that. But ffs.

How do you know you don’t carry virus?

starrynight19 · 19/03/2020 20:03

Yes it would. We had a house booked in Wales for a 40th tomorrow for the weekend.
We have postponed to next year when hopefully this will be just a nightmare.

I’m going this weekend! Taking own food, isolated cottage no neighbours etc. Not using local businesses, taking own cleaning products. Safer than being at home and going to work in a large office which I would have been doing otherwise.

We've got one booked for May half term. Wondering if we have self isolated for 7 days prior to going and still no symptoms we will know that we aren't carrying it and it's safe to go. Who knows what the situation will be in May though anyway.

We know most stuff will be shut, but would be nice to go for a walk on the beach and have a change of scenery.

We postponed ours on the basis of
1 issues with food supplies
2 getting ill whilst there
3 closure of local cafes/attractions
