Pregnant working from home - is it written anywhere my partner should do the same?

DPs work are only allowing vulnerable people to work from home. He is in a small office with the same staff daily so I'm not immensely worried but i wondered if it has been publicised anywhere that those with vulnerable partners should also be working from home? I'm sure i read it somewhere but can't find the source as things are moving so fast.

He needs it on an official website not just conjecture to get approval

I haven’t heard this or seen it anyway I’m afraid. It’s crazy his work aren’t letting him work from home if he is able to though, I hate the attitude of some employers. I’m in the same boat as you in so far as being pregnant, but DH has a job where he can’t work from home so it’s not even a possibility for us. Hope you’re ok, it’s a scary time x

Could he do his work from home? If so, the first line of the guide below says that he should be allowed to do so. This is simply about social distancing for all of us, not because you are pregnant.

He can work from home, yes but they have limited laptops so are trying to hold off

I have asthma and been told to stay at home. Can’t wfh though as the local authority I work for is technologically behind the time and there is nowhere near enough laptops/server capacity so critical roles are being prioritised. OH also works for the same backwards local authority, is unable to work from home and hence is going into work every day. He asked HR what the advice was for someone who is living with a vulnerable person and their response was to tell him to keep coming into work 🙄
