Probably a stupid question but communal areas?

I am currently in isolation with symptoms and have my children at home. Where I live we have communal bins at the back of a shared garden. I know we are not meant to go out but how are we supposed to deal with taking rubbish out? I can't just have it piling up for 2 weeks.

Ok just seen so many things saying that I shouldn't step out of the front door and seeing as the bins are shared with 30 households I wasn't sure. Will get one of the kids to take them just incase.

If you are worried about touching the bins, door handles etc, wear rubber gloves to take out the rubbish. You can wash your hands with the gloves on before you go to the bins and again when you come back inside.

That's a good idea I don't want to be the person who infects the whole block.

That's ok, hope you all feel better soon. It's always these "little" things that we worry over, because like you say, you can't have rubbish piling up indoors, because that's a risk to your family too.

Yes, and double bag all your waste.
I have thought about this too because we share bins.
