Pregnant with symptoms!

I wasn't particularly worried about catching it as the statistics suggested I should recover and there was no added risk to pregnant women... until the recent update. Im 19 weeks pregnant with a higher risk pregnancy (preterm babies with growth issues so they want to monitor this one closely), I'm on day 4 of self isolation and I have the cough, intermittent temp, muscle aches, sore chest. It's tolerable so far but I am now extremely anxious about my baby and the fact there's no real evidence about what could happen. Is anyone else in the same boat? I've had to cancel my midwife appointment and 20 week scan. I literally don't know what other steps to take since nobody has actually said what to do if you DO get it when you're pregnant. Obviously I can't be sure that it's definitely it.

The best thing for you and baby is to stay calm, I assume your midwife told you to cancel the appointments, so take whatever advice they give you and rest.

I feel for you! I am 38 weeks pregnant and have developed a cough, I think it's the uncertainty that's even more unnerving! I rang the community midwife today (took 3 hours to get through!) And they were quite vague about the whole thing which made me feel worse!

My midwife appointment for Friday has been changed to a phone call so I'm hoping by then there might be some more guidance! I'm at least hoping that baby stays put until I'm out of the self-isolation period! I don't fancy that stress on top of everything else!
