Party is next week - would you go? Nothing has been been said so far if it’s going to be cancelled.

Nope

onlyreadingneverposting8 · 17/03/2020 18:22

No. By next week it'll be cancelled anyway and we will be in even more of a lockdown situation!

beepbeeprichie · 17/03/2020 18:23

Absolutely not. Germ soup!

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 17/03/2020 18:23

Hell no.

Ricekrispie22 · 17/03/2020 18:24

Yes, if they’re robust and healthy, and if I didn’t have to stay. I would just slather them in anti-bac before getting back in the car. It’s no different to being at school.

sawyersfishbiscuits · 17/03/2020 18:24

No

minipie · 17/03/2020 18:24

I expect it will be cancelled anyway.

Logically if it is with his/her school class only, and if the soft play place is cleaned thoroughly between parties, then there’s no additional risk above going to school as it’s all the same kids.

However I’d have my doubts about the ability to clean a softplay and I really doubt they will go ahead.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 17/03/2020 18:24

Hell no.

ChequerBoard · 17/03/2020 18:29

Really? You have to ask?

Of course bloody not, do you actually h sets tabs what social distancing means?

Baker1985 · 17/03/2020 18:33

Depends are you one of these crying for schools to be closed? If yes then no don't go. If no an happy sending child to school then go. Seen parents planning to trampoline place next week but then saying schools should close 🤔🤔

Percypopper · 17/03/2020 18:34

Absolutely not

londonmarathonhalfwaypoint · 17/03/2020 18:34

No. The party won’t happen

Lookingbackatme · 17/03/2020 18:35

We think absolutely not too. Thing is that it’s a relatives child’s party and she’s not mentioned cancelling which I think is odd given the circumstances

Firecracker2019 · 17/03/2020 18:35

Absolutely not. Is this a serious question?!

Fatted · 17/03/2020 18:36

For the love of God no! And I am all for carrying on as normal. But this takes the biscuit.

Rua13 · 17/03/2020 18:42

No way

Loppy10 · 17/03/2020 18:43

Obviously not? WTF!

mamaduckbone · 17/03/2020 18:44

Absolutely not - mad for even considering it. Soft play is germ central at the best of times.

inappropriateraspberry · 17/03/2020 18:44

No! You'll probably find the venue will cancel all parties etc anyway. Although it will likely be really quiet as no one is going there at the mo!

BumpkinSpiceBatty · 17/03/2020 18:50

No way.

Blewbell · 17/03/2020 18:51

What!? No! Good ducking grief. Tell her she's lost her mind or lie and say x has a cough.

TheLadyAnneNeville · 17/03/2020 18:53

Absolutely not.

GameSetMatch · 17/03/2020 18:57

No, my five year old is invited to one next week, I told the party girls Mum today we wouldn’t be attending, she assumed everyone knew the party was cancelled with everything on at the moment she was surprised I thought it might still be going ahead.

CeibaTree · 17/03/2020 19:03

Not a chance in hell. But we avoid soft play at the best of times anyway!

PuppyMonkey · 17/03/2020 19:07

Have you checked to see if the venue is still open even this week? I bet it’s already shut.
