I know some are doing this, but if every church, temple, mosque and synagogue in each area put their heads together, they could do a lot to help vulnerable people who need shopping and phone/ sm contact.
My friend is currently complaining that choir practice has been cancelled. TBH I don't think choir practice is top of the agenda. I absolutely agree that it should be cancelled btw.
I am one of the vulnerable people who has to self isolate and I am really scared.

My church is already doing this.

And the mosques are also reaching out to vulnerable people, including the elderly and homeless.

Yep, our church very on the boil. Our vicar is a superstar.

That is great to hear.

My church is doing this too. And I’ve just run a Facebook live session for my choir. I think all community groups will need to muck in.

My student DD lives in a flat ( non student accommodation ) across from a church. They’ve had postcards through the door from the church offering to help anyone who needs it.

Very touching when you think that the ones offering the help are probably pensioners themselves.

I’m sure this is happening in churches / mosques / synagogues etc up and down the country.

What makes you think that?
