For most people, coronavirus gets serious in week 2 if it's going to, right?

So my DD12 who has had a fever for 2 days following a sore throat but seems fine may still get very seriously ill but no-one will test her and I just have to sit tight and hope for the best? We are self-isolating of course but the sudden change in governmental approach is making me scared.

I can't even talk to anyone IRL about this. I can't talk about it to my DDs or I will scare them. My parents are counted among the vulnerable to be quarantined as it is. I feel very alone.

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question but just wanted to wish you my best x

I'm sure she will be fine. Maybe try to step away from social media, it all gets stressful when yoh read what's online.

If it helps, the odds are in her favour

Not for us.
It got suddenly very serious on days 3-4

But for me I've been brewing a tight painful chest and cough for 5 days, so everyone's different.
(That's assuming it's CV)

It does seem to get worse in week 2 OP. There seems to be some evidence that the shortness of breath appears after an average of 8 days. I hope this isn’t the case for your DD and she gets better soon.
