Ok so I am sure there are so many posts on this,
A little background is that we moved house a few months ago and due to distance decided to home school our boys until a space became available. Now typical a space has become a available for one of the boys and we can appeal a place for another. Al TV Pugh I am really reluctant to accept the place as it means one of them will then have to go to school ( I am not about this as he has asthma but then so do his younger brothers at home as well as my husband and myself) but I also care my dad who has blood cancer and diabetes and my mother in law who has underlying health conditions and I am the only one to help them. I am concerned about sending him and he brings something home. Am I being unreasonable and can I legally keep him home ? As he is still technically home educated still ?

I age asked MNHQ tomove your thread to tthe Coronavirus topic - slme people get really antsy about them being inother topics.

I would keep him home. Will you lose the school place or can you tell them you are self-isolating or something?

Hi thank you for the reply, that's my concern is that we lose the place but I don't know if we can self isolate but that could be an option.

I'd phone the school and talk it through with them. Explain your situation.
