Bavaria - sorry, should have said
I did post this morning saying Im abroad, but obviously we mostly dont look at usernames as we read

I'm quite annoyed as the saving grace of living in the middle of nowhere, 5 miles from a shop or public transport stop, is usually the open space, and I have the kind of kids who need to run off energy!
I'm annoyed with the situation atm - the primary teacher is sending out work which is taking dc3 linger than the normal school day with very hectoring notes heavily emphasising parental responsibility not only to supervise but explain and mark the work, warning that after easter she will be checking that we've properly attended to this! Its quite difficult for me to explain the German gramnar and to mark the creative writing in German, and a lot of the set work has to be found in different places and printed out.
Meanwhile the oldwr children keep being knocked off the server where there work is and not being able to get back on, and I'm receiving incredibly long wordy emails left, right and center from the children's schools, the college I attend to study for professional qualifications (but only on Wednesdays and Thursdays) and my employer all making demands on my time.
I cant get college work done because I'm supervising dc3, but emails telling me my responsibilities and requiring information and confirmation I've read them are raining from all sides.
DH was also told today his company won't be allowing home working - even their branch in Spain aren't. So home is all on me. I don't know how or when I'll get my college work done and the constant emails are reminding me the deadlines stand and we should see school and college closures as a chance to prepare more intensely for our exams...
Argh.
I was quite looking forward to home schooling by going for walks in the woods and researching nature and reading lots of books with the kids, but instead its all supervising and marking very specific and dry core subject work which takes up more time than the normal school day, and closing sparsely used open spaces
