Cough from allergies. WWYD

I have a pollen allergy that usually starts in March because of the trees. Its mild but I usually develop a cough from the nasal drip. I have a mild cough first thing before the hay fever tablets kick in and at the end of the night after the drive home.

I know the advice says if you have a new cough you need to self isolate but It comes and goes, I am sure of the cause.

Should I be self isolating.

No. You know the cause.
If it doesn't go after the antihistamine is taken then it's a change to your usual and then you should isolate

I'm very similar, I feel the need to tell everyone that I have a cough because of allergies!! Could you take more antihistamine/ alter the times you take it? Taking it twice a day not once helps me

Thanks for the advice. I woke up this morning with a new cough and a sore throat. I didn't leave the house yesterday so my allergies should of been less. I'm 60% sure it's my allergies but two family members who I rarely see have now been diagnosed with it. I'm going to phone my boss and ask for advice and see what she wants me to do. I don't want to scare my work and worrying them.
