I read diabetics, people with heart disease, chronic lung problems and some cancers.

What about people with copd and asthma?

What about someone who has recently had pneumonia...?

Those with underlying medical issues such as high blood pressure, lung complaints and weakened or compromised immune systems are more likely to develop serious illness as a result of the disease.

I would say asthma and COPD would both count.

I'd like to know how vulnerable pregnant women are, as well as newborns and very young children.

I'm due to give birth in 10 or so weeks, and until a few days ago I wasn't too worried. However, after seeing that a mother and baby have it, I'm terrified.

COPD and Asthma are chronic lung problems.

Pepepig l've heard no more vulnerable than anyone else, unless you have the underlying conditions.

COPD and Asthma are chronic lung problems. As are Cystic Fibrosis. Pulmonary Fibrosis and Emphysema.

@PepePig I believe babies and children are not affected badly, obviously I'd assume a newborn baby would be monitored closely just by fact that they are newborn and sometimes even a cold could turn out serious for them. Children actually pose a risk to elderly and those with underlying health conditions as they may be contagious but not displaying symptoms.
